Our address is for office use only — there is no walk-in shop at this location.

What we collect

• Your order. Name, email address, what you bought, and the total. For collection orders, the festival and pick-up point. For delivery orders, the postal address you give us.
• Your account, if you create one - email address and a password we store only as a one-way hash, never in a form we can read.
• Payment confirmation. A reference to the payment and whether it succeeded. We never receive or store your card number.
• Nothing else. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking of how you browse the site.

Why, and on what basis

• To fulfil your order — taking payment, getting it to you or to the stand, and sending your confirmation. We need this to perform our contract with you.
• To run your account and let you see past orders, where you asked for one.
• To prevent fraud and keep the site up, which is our legitimate interest in not being defrauded.
• To keep tax records, which we are required by law to do.

Who else sees it

Only the suppliers we need to run the shop, and only what they need:

• Stripe processes payments. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never reach us.
• Our email provider sends your order confirmation and runs our mailbox, so it handles your email address.
• Cloudflare sits in front of the site for security and speed.
• Our hosting provider runs the server the site and database sit on.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years, which is how long HMRC requires us to hold records of a sale. Account details are kept until you ask us to close the account.

Cookies and storage

This site uses only what it needs to work, which is why you are not being asked to accept cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising and no profiling.

• Your basket is stored in your own browser so it survives a refresh. It never reaches us until you order.
• A sign-in token, set only if you have an account and only while you are signed in.
• Stripe’s fraud checks, set when you reach the checkout page — not while you browse.
• Cloudflare’s bot filter, which protects the site from automated abuse.

You can clear or block all of these in your browser. Blocking them will stop the basket and the checkout working, because they are what makes those work.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it, or object to how we are using it. Email sales@fatfrankscampingshop.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
